RemindMe is a mobile application that provides time reminder functionality with text-to-speech announcements. The App allows users to:
- Create and manage multiple time reminders
- Set customizable time intervals
- Receive voice announcements at specified intervals
- Customize voice settings and messages
- View reminder history
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Appropriate Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App to infringe on the rights of others
3.2 Device Permissions
The App requires certain permissions to function properly:
- Notification permissions for reminder alerts
- Alarm permissions for precise timing
- Boot receiver permission to resume reminders after restart
You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, but this may affect App functionality.
3.3 Data Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Backing up your reminder data
- Managing your device's storage
- Ensuring your device meets minimum requirements
4. Permissions and Access
4.1 Required Permissions
The App requires the following permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To display reminder notifications
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: For precise reminder scheduling
- USE_EXACT_ALARM: For exact alarm functionality
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To resume reminders after device restart
- VIBRATE: For notification vibration (optional)
- INTERNET: Required by WorkManager (no data transmitted)
4.2 Permission Revocation
You may revoke permissions at any time, but this may limit or disable App functionality.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 App Ownership
The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by PASCO and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the App (reminders, messages, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to store this content locally on your device.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of reminders
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Reminders will always function correctly
- Background operation will work in all scenarios
- Voice announcements will be accurate
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or reminders
- Device malfunction or damage
- Missed reminders or notifications
- Any damages resulting from use or inability to use the App
8. Battery and Performance
The App may impact device battery life and performance, especially when:
- Multiple reminders are active
- Background operation is enabled
- Voice announcements are frequent
You acknowledge that battery usage may vary based on your usage patterns.
9. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Update the App at any time
- Modify features or functionality
- Discontinue the App or any features
- Change these Terms at any time
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App.
